How To Put A Copyright Symbol In The Footer Of Your Weebly Site
Sunday August 25, 2013 | Comments
This tutorial will show you how to put the all important, and somewhat deterring, copyright symbol in the footer of your Weebly site.
Step 1. Open Weebly's HTML/CSS Editor
Click on Design at the top of the page, and then click on Edit HTML/CSS on the bottom left side of the page.
Step 2. Select your site's layout
Select the Page Layout your site uses on the left.
Note: If you use multiple page layouts for your site, you will need to perform this process for each individual page layout that you use. The copyright will only appear on the page layouts you customize.
Step 3. Make some space
We need to make some space for organization. Place your cursor in the location indicated in the before picture. Hit "return" 3 times, and then "tab" 3 times.
Step 4. Add the HTML copyright code
Add this code in the space you just created. Add your site's name in place of the orange text.
<div id="copyright" ><p>Copyright ©2013 YOUR SITE'S NAME HERE, All Rights Reserved</p></div>
